C as Connections C as Confalonieri and since 1979 C as C.matic… the right attitude to fittings!

C.matic was founded as a pneumatic fitting and special component manufacturer after a long term experience as a subcontractor of high precision metal parts.

Years of expansion led to a radical change in the original craftsman workshop activity. The workshop turned into a company whose main objective is to project, develop and manufacture a line of pneumatic fittings.

The MA is our “Automatic push-in fitting” line. It enables quick connections with calibrated plastic hoses at any time, at any stage of the pneumatic circuit and by a simple hand movement. The connection and the fitting tightness are made possible by the presence of the stainless steel grip and of an Oring inside the fitting so that once the tube is inserted to the bottom of the fitting, the stainless collet grips onto it and prevents it from being released. The tube disconnection is then possible by pushing onto the outer metal ring, called release ring. All MA fittings are brass nickel-plated.

The AV is a  higher performance line of push- to-connect fittings created to satisfy those special applications implying a high constant operating temperature; all internal components are in fact studied to guarantee a constant usage at 150 °C.
All AV fittings are in brass nickel-plated.

Our automatic MB fittings are made of a polymer belonging to the acetal resins. The technical features of this polymer make this fitting line stiff, corrosion and fatigue resistent, and allow for dimensional stability, all characteristics necessary to bridge the gap between metal fittings and an ordinary plastic fitting line. The functioning principle of the MB is the same as our Push-in’s therefore enabling quick, manual connection and disconnection with calibrated hoses at any stage of the pneumatic circuit. The inner Oring and the stainless steel grip allow for the tube to be held captive and for the pneumatic tightness. When the tube is pushed to the bottom of the fitting, the stainless steel collet grips onto it and the tube is held captive. It is then enough to press on the release ring to set the tube free from the fitting.

HP is a new generation fitting  studied to guarantee tightness with pressure ranges, considered so far “out of reach” with the push-in version. The fitting has been created and developped to be used in the Lubrication systems. Thanks to the innovative gripping system of the collet, our HP push-in fitting can stand up to a maximum of 250 bar pressure.

MP is a quick coupling conceived for applications up to 80 bar in the field of centralized lubrication. With its technical content, the MP series completes the already existing range of fittings for lubrication and provides continuity to the distinctive characteristics of the entire production C.MATIC: speed connection, guarantee of performance and reliability.

MM is our new line of misting fittings.
C.matic are now using all their know-how and experience in high pressure connections for a completely new purpose. To create “Misting”.
Water at 70 bar pressure is channelled through hoses and sprayed through nozzles as millions of very fine mist drops, creating that way a refreshing effect all around a specific area.
Misting, as a cost effective, energy saving and non polluting technique is used both in industrial and commercial fields to control odours and humidity, to set dusts, to cool down indoor and outdoor temperatures.

MX is our new stainless steel fittings line. Suitable for all those applications where brass nickel-plated and acetal fittings are banned, the new AISI 316L fitting is conceived to withstand corrosive environments (substances), to channel aggressive fluids and to be used in the food and chemical industries. MX is standard equipped with FPM seals that will assure endurance at the highest temperatures.

The RA line, also known as the “Accessories line” or the “Standard fittings line” consists of a wide variety of components, such as Nipples, Reduction pieces, Connections, Plugs, Hose connections, L-T and Cross fittings. Due to the multiple auxiliary functions of this line, the RA fittings are the right complement for other ranges. All components are brass nickel-plated.

The so called “Nut Fittings” are designed with a nozzle whose shape guarantees the tubing perfect tightness simply by finger tightening the nut. The MC range includes some swivelling fittings that after the assembling can freely swivel. The big advantage of this line is that the connected tube is allowed a 360° rotation on the fixing axle. All MC fittings are brass nickel-plated.

The MO fitting gripping and tightness system on the tubing is performed by the olive compression on the tube. The MO fittings are manufactured according to the following DIN norms:

  • the Olive and Olive seat: DIN 3861
  • Nuts: DIN 3870

Our MO fittings are brass nickel-plated

The multiple connector is made of a fixed part to be connected to the control device of pneumatic powered machines and a mobile part to be assembled to the air distribution equipment. The big advantage offered by it, is that a bundle of hoses, varying from min 8 to max 20 tubes, can be rapidly and safely connected and disconnected. Our multiple connector is manufactured in such a way that the reverse assembly of the two parts is not possible.

PN is C.MATIC highly performing, extremely compact  push-in full metal fitting. Our PN fittings are ready for use as all threads are PTFE pre-applied and no tools are requested to guarantee tight and pressure resistant assemblies. The hose connection is made possible by the presence of a stainless steel gripper and by an O-ring inside of the fitting. To connect, simply push the tubing until it bottoms; the stainless steel teeth grip onto the tubing and holds it captive. The great advantage of our special PTFE coating on threads makes sure that the fitting can be used several times without peeling off. It is a full metal fitting and this makes of it the suitable fitting for the heaviest duty pneumatic applications.
